This trail begins on the plateau of Črne Njive and follows the road for Sviščaki. After about half an hour, turn right onto the forest road leading up to Kozlek. An hour into steady climbing, the forests suddenly gives way to astonishing views of the Reka Valley, Brkini, Učka and the Adriatic below. The hut is just around the corner.
