Start in Ilirska Bistrica and pedal your way to to Zabiče, with the Mount Snežnik massif on your left and Reka river on your right. When riding from Trpičane to Zabiče, you may encounter a strong wind, which the locals have named Kočanka. This is where the trail got its name from.

After a 500-meter climb, turn left into the village of Pograje and continue down towards Kuteževo. As you make your way to Jablanica, keep right and follow a narrow road through Vrbica and Vrbovo back to Ilirska Bistrica.
