Start in Ilirska Bistrica and make your way towards Topolc. Take the main road to Dolnje Bitnje and cross the Reka river. Ride uphill until you reach the Prem Castle and carry on towards Prelože. A brief descent and a short climb lead to the village of Prelože, which is the highest point of the trail.

Return via Harije, Zajelše, Tominj and Lake Mola and back to Ilirska Bistrica. The trail offers exceptional views of Mounts Snežnik, Slavnik, Čičarija and the Učka massif. The undulating landscape truly is thrilling – and never boring. And the climbs are not too difficult either.
