These picturesque ruins still bear the name of the vicious Goths, dating back to 13^th century with Count Vincentius of Pazin. In the late 17^th century, the castle was already destroyed, giving substance to legends of barbaric robber knights hiding in the wilderness and using the ruins as their base for attacks on merchants travelling the roads below.
