Start at the mountain lodge at Sviščaki and take the path across the meadow. Leave the path and converge with the road up the slope. Follow the road until you reach a chapel. Well-maintained markings will lead you through the forest and onto a clearing, where you will be greeted by the first scenic view of the magnificent summit. The trail winds across the dwarf-pine-covered slope, and the views become increasingly spectacular. Finally, a 10-minute walk from the pass below Mali and Veliki Snežnik will take you to the Drago Karolin mountain hut just below the summit.
